About Me

I was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, and for a few years moved to Fayette, Missouri, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Central Methodist University. During my time at Central Methodist, I captained the men's soccer team for three years, and afterwards dedicated ten years to competitive youth soccer coaching.

After graduating, I was proud to accept a position at the State of Missouri in 2011, where I have since held roles as a Java Software Developer, IT Project Manager, Department Client Services Manager, and IT Strategy and Planning Director. In 2014, I was awarded the State of Missouri Young IT Professional of the Year and in 2020, I was honored with the Young Alumni of the Year Award from Central Methodist University. I am also a graduate of the State of Missouri's Leadership Academy and the University of Missouri's Novak Leadership Institute.

In my spare time, I enjoy being an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Missouri Tigers, woodworking, playing old man soccer, and, most of all, spending time with my wife Houston, our two boys Murphy and Ellis, and being the best husband and dad I can be.
